Have a great day!

Happy Memorial Day!

I think that Ella has scarred Aidan for life. She walked up to him and hit him and now he is scared of her. He sometimes hides when he see's her coming. We are working with him through this trial and we are also working on Ella's people skills. We will keep you posted......

Is there a way to see what comments are new without having to go back down the page and check them all?

We went and saw Episode III tonight. Have you seen it yet? What did you think?
It had its good parts and its not so good parts. I think Anikin's change was a bit too quick.

Happy Birthday, Karen!!!

What is everyone doing this weekend?

We are going to Orlando to visit Wade's brother and his family. We only live about 2 hours away, but we haven't seen them for 6 months. So, we figured we'd better make a trip down there.
They have 5 wild kids, and my kids are dying to see them. We probably won't do anything too exciting: hang out, have a BBQ. We're going Sunday, after Jordyn comes back from D.C.

I wish we could see you guys, too!

Wow, Shauna! Looks like you've really been busy with scapbooking! Glad to see that some of the Closetkids are updating their pages.

This isn't a crockpot recipe but it doesn't require any cooking and sounds good. I haven't tried it yet. But it looks like you can make it just about any way you want and with any type of wrap.

Turkey Tortilla Cones

1/2 package (8-ounce size) cream cheese, softened
4 Old El Paso® flour tortillas (6 inches in diameter)
1/4 cup Old El Paso® Thick 'n Chunky salsa
4 lettuce leaves
4 ounces smoked cooked turkey or ham, cut into strips
4 ounces Cheddar cheese, cut into strips
1 small red bell pepper, cut into strips
1. Spread cream cheese evenly on top 2/3 of each tortilla. Spread salsa over cream cheese.
2. Place lettuce leaf on each tortilla. Top with turkey, cheese and bell pepper strips.
3. Fold up bottom 1/3 of each tortilla, then roll up to make cone shape with folded end on bottom. Keep tortilla in cone shape with toothpick. Serve with additional salsa if desired.

I am looking for some really easy crockpot recipes or just any quick and easy recipe. I am getting tired of making the same things and I am looking to add some new grubb to our menu. Any one have some that they don't mind sharing? Any secret family recipes?

Hey Clam Chowder. I just noticed you updated your page. I like it. I didn't see any pics from the Australian nudie beaches. Did I just miss them?

Aidan's excited for you guys to come visit. I told him you would be here in a few days and he said, "that'd be fun."

Hey, is the Closet Kids blog private? I was just wondering because at the top right corner there is a button that says, "next blog". Also, can only ClosetKids post here?

I am probably the worst at keeping in contact with you guys. I don't spend very much time on the web because we have dial-up, but I will try to check out the blog whenever I am online.

Nana, I am almost out of birthday cards, can you send me some more? JK.

Sunday, May 22, 2005

ok, I found out what I was doing wrong. There's a new link to view the blog. I'll add it to ClosetKids.

Isn't "blog" short for "web log"? Kind of like an online journal?

We are fine here. Cody's birthday is tomorrow. Wade & I saw Star Wars III yesterday. Jordyn leaves for Washington D.C. on Tuesday. She comes back Sunday. Chandler is so excited because he is "almost to his thumb!" (as he puts it). If you don't get it, hold up 4 fingers (Chandler's age). When he is 5, he will be able to hold up his thumb, too.

Hey, is
AZ Hey-mon 2 different people???? That's too confusing!

Well, it looks like I made it to the right place this time. Just what is a blog? It has the feel of a 'chat room,' sort of.

Why is it when you click on 'view' nothing is there?

And why can't you get back to the 'posts' after you publish a blog?

Yea! Now the computer impaired like me can put stuff on here.
And it is Abbott and Costello Jack and the Bean Stock and the kids love it.
I am taking Shauna up on her Dare.....

I found out where "fall down and go boom" may have originated from. We were watching Laurel and Hardy's Jack and the Beanstalk and in it, when Jack chops down the stalk and the giant hits the ground, Hardy says "he fall down and go boom"!

All along I thought we made it up!

Ok, I'm not really sure what a blog is supposed to be and it looks like I'm the first one here. Here goes. If this blogger business is anything like the Closetkids webpage only a few of us will actually keep up with it, anyway. Prove me wrong. I dare you.

Not much going on here. I had my wisdom teeth out a few days ago. Rick is out of town. Carrie and Weston and family are coming to visit me for Memorial Day. Yay! Should be fun. That's about all for now.

Welcome to the ClosetKids blog. You can post anything you like here!
