We recently upgraded to DSL.
It is only $15 a month and we were paying $10 for dial-up.

We use Verizon DSL

We get broadband via cable. We can't get DSL in our neighborhood :( Ours is $29/month thru Cox Communications (the cable tv provider out here)

We use regular old Juno dial-up for $6.95 a month.

We get ours through Verizon.
So far I have been happy with it.

We use Netzero 3G, it's about $15 a month. It's OK, except that it ties up your phone line.
