How much does the tooth fairy leave at your house?
and do you just stick the tooth under the pillow or do you put it in something before you put it under the pillow?

The tooth fairy leaves a dollar for each tooth. We put the tooth in a special tooth pillow, and stick that under their pillow. Sometimes the tooth fairy leaves behind some "fairy dust", too (looks suspiciously like glitter).

when the tooth fairy remembers she leaves 1 dollar.
I have a friend whose tooth fairy leaves a gold dollar coin for each tooth. and does leave fairy dust all over the house in a trail. hopefully at the smiths it is just a little under the pillow for Kimberly's sake.

Ashlyn lost a tooth yesterday and put it under her pillow last night. She woke up really worried (right before I went to bed) and was almost in tears when she discovered that the tooth was still there. I told her that the tooth fairy was probably waiting for me to go to sleep so I wouldn't see her. when she woke this morning she came into my room and said mom there is this sparklie stuff under my pillow and there is something wierd in the envelope (where we put her tooth the night before). She was thrilled to see the dollar that was left in place of her tooth! It's fun to have kids!
