what is a PETE bottle? I didn't know you could can butter.
how long is the shelf life. I don't think it would last long here in our desert.

A PETE bottle is a plastic bottle that some drinks come in. Soda pop 2-liter bottles are an example. If you look on the bottom, there is a triangle recycling symbol and it says "PETE". Pop in an oxy pak, and you can store dry ingredients in the bottle (rice, flour, pasta, etc) for 5 to 10 years.

Canned butter has a shelf life of 3 to 5 years, or more. It does not have to be refrigerated, even after you open it. At least, that's what I've been told! Our teacher says she's been canning butter for years and has experimented with it to see if the claims are true. According to her, they are. Of course, she doesn't live in the desert....

According to my sources....
The ward will do 4 Enrichment nights a year. the Stake will do 2 a year. and the remainder are going to be like a midweek type activty. I am guessing we will hear more about it at or after The general women's broadcast.
