No, this isn't an early Christmas present left on an unsupecting doorstep by Simon and Newt ... it's my (Craig) stinkin' attemp to make chocolate cake donuts. After "straining" for 3 hours, I ended up with 4 heaping plates full of turds donuts. I was so disappointed and it was so late (1am Sunday by the time I was done), that Karen and I just sat there and laughed so hard we cried. Seriously though, if anyone has a good cake donut recipe, please post it here. Look at the back right plate, how can you say those don't look like a gift from Marmaduke ?! Sorry for the potty humor but I was so disappointed at those "stinking" things that I just have to call a spade a spade. :)

That is SO gross looking!! It sure looks like you had been 'straining' all night! You can always look back and remember those yummy looking donuts you made. Good times, good times.
