Have a great day!

Is anyone making "gingerbread" houses this year? Here are some hints for making them:

Add 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar to about 1 cup of frosting. You can use homemade frosting or store-bought. Cream of tartar helps the frosting harden so your house can stand up.

Here's a website that tells you how to make them with graham crackers using a milk carton for a base. If you use frosting that hardens, you can make them without the base. It's more difficult for little ones, but fun to do anyway.

Have fun!

We did ours yesterday afternoon and had a great time.
Maybe Craig will post the pics later today. That is a good frosting tip I did not know about. I did the royal icing with egg whites.

We have milk cartons, but haven't made the houses yet. We'll probably do it for FHE tomorrow night.

Thanks for the frosting tip!
