Last year was the first time we've ever really celebrated St. Patty's day, beyond wearing green so we won't get pinched.
This is what I did last year:
Tinted the milk in the fridge green.
Colored the water in the toilets green.
Made green bread so their sandwiches would be green.
Left a pile of gold (chocolate) coins on our kitchen table, along with a note from a leprechaun saying something like, "You can't catch me!".
I can't remember if I did anything else.
This year I'd like to add some different things. I've bought a box of Lucky Charms cereal, but I need more ideas please!

In school, a leprechaun has been causing mischief in Chandler's classroom. Whenever they go out to recess is when the "leprechaun" strikes: turning chairs over, turning the calendar upside down, rearranging the cubbies, etc. Chandler thinks it's so funny, and he has started to secretly cause leprechaun mischief in our home.
I also remember when Cody was about Chandler's age, he made a Leprechaun Trap. He rigged a box with a stick and tied a container of coins to the stick. Unfortunately for him, the trap did not work. That sneaky leprechaun took all of the coins and filled the container with shamrocks! ;)

Instead of putting your chocolate coins on the table--put an empty cauldron on the table with the note and a clue to follow to the next clue to eventually find the leprechaun's "gold".

For dinner, I plan on making
-Potato pancakes (similar to the Irish dish called boxty)
-Green salad (lettuce, cucumbers, celery, anything green!)
-chicken with a sauce that I may either tint green or add parsley to.
-gold Jell-o (just to break up all the green, and to symbolize the leprechaun's gold)
For dessert, green ice cream!
