Well, we got a call at about midnight telling us to go and look out our back window and this is what we saw. This picture doesn't do it justice.......I don't think that I will be sleeping good tonight. Can ya'll guess what it is?
I just went back out and the second picture was taken about 15 min after the 1st. There is only one street above us and then the mountain......I wonder if we will get a knock on our door tonight telling us to get out of here.

We are fine. They got the fire put out this afternoon. The girls loved watching the helicopters and airplanes come and drop water and such on the fire. The wind has picked up again this evening and our house is starting to smell like smoke again.....I hope that they got it all out today and that this wind doesn't start it up again. It was started by some kids with bottle rockets. It was scary but intriguing to watch the flames and a fire that big.

Another update, on the 10 o'clock news they said that so far 17 acres have been burned and the fire is 80% contained.

ok, I got my facts wrong....they say about 100 acres have been burned so far
