Easter Traditions?

On the Deseret Book/Mormon Life website there is a section about Easter Activities for families.

One of them says:
"Easter Week is an important one for us. We focus on Easter that Sunday through Sunday and do things to help us remember what happened on each particular day. We break a donkey piñata on the Passover Sunday that Christ entered Jerusalem on a donkey, feed the kids Fig Newtons when we talk about how he cursed the fig tree, visit the temple on the day Christ spent all day in the temple teaching, and so forth."

Do any of you have any more ideas? Our Christmas Shepard's Dinner was such a huge success, we'd like to do more of that type of thing in our family.

Here is a very basic run-down of the week. If there are errors, let me know. If you have ideas for activities for that week, please share!

SUNDAY
Triumphal Entry .

MONDAY
Jesus cursed the fig tree.

TUESDAY
Jesus is in the temple teaching. He tells many parables.

WEDNESDAY
Jesus had withdrawn from all public teaching and had spent this day in seclusion.

THURSDAY
The Last Supper. Jesus lets the disciples know that one of them would betray Him.
Jeus went to the Garden of Gethsemane.
The Atonement.

FRIDAY
Jesus was crucified.

SATURDAY
Jesus was in the tomb.

SUNDAY
The tomb was found empty!

Okay, no ideas, huh? Someone did tell me that there's a whole book, (if you live near a church bookstore), called A Christ-Centered Easter, by Janet and Joe Hales, with wonderful ideas for each day of Easter Week.  You can use pictures from the Gospel Art Kit each day and post them as Christ "journeys" through the week.  The book supposedly has additional activities, stories, and a menu for a "Jerusalem Dinner". For those who live near a bookstore, you should check it out and let me know how it is. ;) It sounds like what I am looking for. I want to take the focus off of the Easter Bunny.

In the past, we have done activities such as
Easter Story Cookies, Resurrection Eggs, and Resurrection Rolls. For those who may be interested, instructions can be found at
