sleeping. Then, I got woke up at midnight by all the ships out on the water blowing their fog horns and the neighborhood trouble makers setting off fireworks.

We had a pretty quiet New Year's -- at least for us. We set off some fireworks (and then it started raining). We ate little smokies and lots of junk food. Then a game of Risk rounded out the festivities.

Since we set off fireworks, I guess that makes us trouble-makers, too!!!

We had some friends stay a couple of days with us. We played Monopoly ate little smokies, fondue, and lots of other junk. We were so tired when midnight came..we managed to go outside and yell happy new year and then we all quickly went back inside (not to mention the fact that it was freezing outside).

We went out to dinner at the Cheese Cake Factory the night before. Then New Years Eve we had yogurt smoothies and played on the computer, watched TV and talked to our kids and families on the phone. Rather quiet for us with no guests, smokies, fondue, fireworks or noise makers.

kids stayed up until a little after 10pm then fell asleep. called mom and dad to celebrate new years EST with them. had little smokies and other junk food. Played games with the kids and did party poppers and streamers in the driveway with the kids around 10pm MST. I think Karen fell asleep before midnight our time.
